We’re waiting for our purrrfect match

  • Black and white cat sat on a mattress

    Lola

    10 years old
    Indoor only home
Fostering on behalf of Crazy Cat Lady Cat Rescue

We elected to take the lovely Lola into our care when we learned her human had a significant change in circumstances that left them no choice but to surrender her back to the rescue.

Lola may be a senior lady but she is young at heart and she's been given a clean bill of health! She is a chatty cat who loves to give head boops and still enjoys play.

She will suit most homes but would be best in a quieter household where she will be doted on and can spend her days birdwatching from a comfy sun spot.

Given her mostly black coat, we are looking for humans who will be committed to keeping her indoor only to ensure her safety in her twilight years.

Other older cat friends (8+) are fine as long as the time is taken to introduce them properly. She has had no experience with dogs.

  • 2 cats sitting together on a bed

    Carter & Carrie

    1 year old
    Siblings
    Indoor only home
Fostering on behalf of Gutter Kitties

Carter & Carrie arrived into our care almost fully wild so we have been focusing on socializing them.

They will accept pats now but still tend to be wary with human contact (especially Carrie) so we are looking for experienced cat parents who will be patient, giving them the time and space they need to be fully comfortable around people. Both do have high hunter drives so the best way to interact with them is with play.

Other furry friends will be fine so long as the time is taken to introduce them. They will be best suited in a quiet, adult-only home; families with older, cat-savvy children will be considered.

Given their former feral background, it is going to be an ongoing journey with their socialization so we will be looking for people who will commit to continuing to keep them indoors only

  • 2 cats sitting together in a bed

    Reba & Carly

Approx. 2+ years old (Reba), 1 year old (Carly)
    Bonded mum + daughter duo
    Indoor only home
Fostering on behalf of Gutter Kitties

Mumma Reba and her babies arrived into our care as an almost fully feral (wild) family. They are a close-knit family but Reba and Carly are particularly close so we’d love to see them be adopted together.

Though they have come a long way in the time they’ve been with us, they are still wary with human contact. They will accept pats but on their terms; the best way to interact with them is with play.

  • A tuxedo cat and black cat sat next to each other

    Sesame & Truffle

7 months (Sesame), 1 year old (Truffle)
    Former colony mates
    Indoor only home
Fostering on behalf of Gutter Kitties

Sesame & Truffle were found living as part of a cat colony in Albany.

We suspect Sesame was born outside as she is incredibly wary of people. We’ve worked with her to get more comfortable with human interaction and she’s doing so well. We are looking for experienced cat parents in a quiet household who are committed to continuing to work with her socialization.

Truffle on the other hand we believe was dumped at the colony. She is super confident and friendly so will suit most homes. Due to her high play drive and attention-seeking ways, her forever family must be home often as she does thrive on company.

Given their coats, we are looking for people who will be committed to keeping them indoor only. Other feline friends are fine as long as the time is taken to introduce them properly.

We’d love for them to be adopted together or we will consider a solo adoption if there is another similar aged cat with matching energy in the home.
