Reba & Carly
Approx. 2+ years old (Reba), 1 year old (Carly)
Bonded mum + daughter duo
Indoor only home
Fostering on behalf of Gutter KittiesMumma Reba and her babies arrived into our care as an almost fully feral (wild) family. They are a close-knit family but Reba and Carly are particularly close so we’d love to see them be adopted together.
Though they have come a long way in the time they’ve been with us, they are still wary with human contact. They will accept pats but on their terms; the best way to interact with them is with play.
We are looking for experienced cat parents who will be patient, giving them the time and space they need to be fully comfortable around people.
Other furry friends will be fine so long as the time is taken to introduce them. They will be best suited in a quiet, adult-only home; families with older, cat-savvy children will be considered.
Given their former feral background, it is going to be an ongoing journey with their socialization so we will be looking for people who will commit to continuing to keep them indoors only.

Starburst, Nebulosa & Houdini
1 year old
Bonded siblings
Indoor only home
Fostering on behalf of Crazy Cat Lady Cat RescueThese ‘special sighted’ siblings came into our care on Boxing Day. They had been fostered by a vet who took them in as wee kittens with severe cat flu which resulted in their vision being compromised.
They’ve been through so much together and for the most part move around as a pack so we would really love to see them adopted as a trio.
Starburst is the handsome boy of the group who has permanent scarring in his eyes so you’ll need to be mindful when interacting with him. Nebulosa and Houdini are our one-eyed girlies who are super close. They will take a little while to settle but once they are comfortable with you, they are the sweetest trio who love pats and play.
They will be best suited in a quiet, adult-only home (families with older, cat-savvy children will be considered). Other furry friends will be fine so long as introduced properly. They have had experience living with a small dog with a calm disposition.
Due to limitations with their vision, we are looking for people who can commit to keeping them indoor only to ensure their safety.

Truffle
1+ year old
Indoor only home
Fostering on behalf of Gutter KittiesTruffle was living in a cat colony in Albany - we suspect she was dumped there.
She is super confident and friendly so will suit most homes. As she thrives on company, we’d like Truffle to go to a home where her humans will be around a lot to shower her with attention.
Additionally, there must be at least one other similar aged cat with matching energy in the home. Please note the time must be taken to introduce them properly.
Given her coat, Truffle’s forever family must be committed to keeping her indoor only.

Frodo & Sam
6 months old
Indoor only home
Fostering on behalf of Stray WhiskersFrodo & Sam were found with their siblings + mum on someone’s property.
When they first arrived into our care, it was clear they had not had much contact with humans.
They have made good progress with us and while Sam has gotten quite comfortable with human interaction, Frodo is still very skittish on approach.
While they will be well suited in most homes, we are looking for humans who will be home often as kittens are high maintenance. They would be OK in a family environment but one with older, cat-savvy children would be our preference.
Other existing cats in the house will be fine as long as they are of similar age (kittens to 2 years old) and the time is taken to introduce them properly.
Given their coats, we are looking for a forever family who will be committed to keeping them indoor only.
As they are also close with their other 2 siblings, we would consider a different pairing depending on the home and bond.

Merry & Pippin
6 months old
Indoor only home
Fostering on behalf of Stray WhiskersMerry & Pippin were living on someone’s property with their siblings + mum before being taken in by a rescue and coming into our care.
It became immediately apparent they’d not had much contact with people as they were quite hissy and very wary of us.
While they have made good progress, they are still very skittish on approach so their forever family will need to be patient and understand they’ll need time to find their paws.
We are looking for a forever family who will be committed to keeping them indoor only to best help them with their ongoing socialization.
As they are also close with their other 2 siblings, we would consider a different pairing depending on the home and bond.

Sesame
1+ year old
Indoor only home. Experienced cat parent(s) required, ideally with socializing feral cats
Fostering on behalf of Gutter KittiesSesame was found living as part of a cat colony in Albany. We suspect she was born and grew up here as she is incredibly wary of people.
We’ve been working with her to get more comfortable with human interaction and while she’s doing so well, she still has a ways to go.
Consequently, we are looking for experienced cat parents in a quiet household who are committed to continuing to work with her socialization. If you have experience with feral cats, this would be advantageous.
While she does tend to shy away from people, she does like being around other cats. Thus she would be alright in a home with 1-2 other feline friends who are more on the low maintenance side, noting the time must be taken to introduce them properly.
Given her coat and feral background, we are looking for a forever family who will be committed to keeping her indoor only.
